These Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between XOXO Inc. (operating the Seonsaengnim service) and any user subscribing to a Premium subscription on the platform. The sales contract is entered into directly between the user and XOXO Inc., which remains the Seller of Record of the service. By subscribing, you accept these Terms and Conditions without reservation.
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. through XOXO Commerce Inc., a US (Delaware) corporation acting as an authorized payment agent on behalf of XOXO Inc.
XOXO Commerce Inc. is not a party to the sales contract: it acts exclusively under mandate from XOXO Inc. for the collection and processing of payments via the Stripe platform. XOXO Inc. remains the Seller of Record and is solely responsible for providing the services.
Users' bank statements may show "XOXO Commerce" or "SSNIM" due to the operational handling of payments via Stripe.
Seonsaengnim is a SaaS (Software as a Service) platform for automated Korean language learning. The platform offers several subscription plans:
All services are fully automated and self-service, available 24/7, subject to maintenance operations and updates necessary for the proper functioning of the platform.
Premium subscription prices are as follows:
Website payments may be processed by Stripe or PayPal depending on the payment method selected. Stripe accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and other payment methods depending on your region. Applicable taxes (including VAT) are collected by XOXO Commerce Inc. (XOXO Inc.'s payment agent) via its EU OSS VAT number EU372077443.
The Premium subscription is taken out for a period of one month (monthly plan). It renews automatically at the end of the period for the same duration, unless cancelled by the user before the renewal date.
Automatic renewal results in the subscription amount being charged to the registered payment method.
You may contact us to request a refund if you experience an issue with your purchase. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Except where required by applicable law, submitting a refund request does not guarantee that the refund will be approved.
Waiver of the right of withdrawal : As Seonsaengnim is a digital service with immediate execution, when you purchase premium access on the website, access to the service is generally provided immediately after payment. Where permitted by applicable law, you may be asked to confirm that you want immediate access to the service and that you waive your statutory right of withdrawal.
Purchases made in the mobile app : For purchases made in the mobile app through Apple's App Store or Google Play, payments and refunds are handled directly by Apple or Google. Seonsaengnim cannot directly approve, reject, or issue a refund for a purchase made through the App Store or Google Play.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
After cancellation, you retain Premium access until the end of the paid period. Your data and progress are retained.
XOXO Inc. reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account in case of violation of these Terms.
All content on the Seonsaengnim platform (texts, images, videos, audio, logos, graphics, etc.) is protected by copyright and belongs to XOXO Inc. or its partners.
Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication, or adaptation of all or part of the site's elements, by any means or process, is prohibited without prior written authorization.
XOXO Inc. strives to ensure the accuracy and updating of information published on the platform. However, XOXO Inc. cannot guarantee the accuracy, precision, or completeness of the information provided.
XOXO Inc. shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of the platform, including service interruption, data loss, or any other malfunction.
Personal data collected is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and our Privacy Policy.
XOXO Inc. reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on the site. We recommend checking this page regularly for any modifications.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. In case of dispute, and after attempting amicable resolution, the competent courts of Seoul, South Korea, shall have sole jurisdiction.
In accordance with the Korean Consumer Protection Act, you may also use the Korean Consumer Dispute Resolution Commission for alternative dispute resolution.
